This springs clinic is being held in conjunction with the Pyramid Society and its promotion of the Egyptian Arabian horse. We are very fortunate to have two very informative people willing to give us this clinic.
Albert Guilbault of Abitibi Farms of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, will be talking on "Bloodlines, Strains, Al Khamsa and similar topics." Albert has been in Egyptian Arabians for over 30 years and is very informative and knowledgable on bloodlines, and he is very willing to answer any questions you might have.
Our second presenter is Dr. Catherine Hunnisett D.V.M. a local veterinarian who Jennifer Parsons feels is very qualified to talk on "Preparing your mare for breeding". She will also answer any questions and concerns you may have.
Following the clinic there will be a presentation of Etaya horses and Jennifer has offered us a BBQ to round out this informative clinic. We will also be able to see the new stable and new riding arena that she has just built.

>From Toronto: Hwy 400 North through Barrie, continue on Hwy 400 to 400. Extention continue on 400 Extention to Hwy #93 (exit 21) follow #93 towards Midland/Pentang, continue on #93 to village of Waverley, turn right at the first set of lights in Waverley onto the Vasey Road (Simcoe Road 23) continue on Vasey Road to Newton Street, turn left on Newton Street follow approx. 3 miles to Etaya Egyptian Stud located on left hand side of road. *See ponds & white PVC fencing.
Membership Fees - 2004
An invoice was included in the Christmas newsletter. Membership fees are now due. Please send a cheque for $50.00 to the president Glenn Pearson, at 244 Zanders Rd., R.R.#7, Pembroke, ON., K8A 6W8. If you have any questions please call Glenn at 613-735-1831. If you know of any others interested in joining, please have them contact us so that they can be included in this year's directory. The invoice does not have to be sent back, only if corrections are needed to be done. Just send a cheque for your membership and make the cheque out to EAHAC.
Horse Listing in Directory 2004
We are sending out with this bulletin the page for the horse listing. It is still $3. per horse for the first 10 horses and $2 per horse for any after that. If you are listing some of the same horses as you did in previous years, just put their name down and we'll use the information from last year.
Please call us if you are planning on putting an ad in the Directory this year, and so we can save a page for you.
Special Note: The Association will help anyone design and get camera ready their ad for the Directory at no extra costs. Please call Heather or Glenn Pearson for further details.
DIRECTORY 2004
Another directory of members, their farms and their horses is planned this year. We are planning to have it ready to distribute at the Egyptian Event in Kentucky in June, as well as at Regionals and National Arabian shows this year. All ads must be camera ready, plus an original photo (colour or B/W) must accompany all ads if there is to be a picture in the ad. All ads must have accompanying payment. This directory is not only a great inexpensive way to advertise your horses, farm and breeding program, but helps the association to let everyone know that we are here and that we have great horses in this huge country of the Maple Leaf.
The Directory will be 5.5 by 8.5 inches of very high quality paper and cover. It will be a Black & White Directory. Call Heather Pearson if you have any questions.
Advertising Rates and Rules - must be camera ready and with original photo
- Cheques must accompany all ads.- Photos can be e-mailed also
- Members - Full page ads $75.00
- Non-members can advertise at a special offer of $120.00 per page - If you wish to join, the membership fee is $50.00 for the year 2001, then it is only $75.00 per page
- Only Egyptian Arabians can be advertised
- Ads must NOT be folded and are to be sent to Heather Pearson As soon as possible - if any questions or problems call Heather at 613-735-1831 right away.
-Other Commercial business ads (i.e. Grain Co., Insurance Co, Saddle Stores etc.) can place an ad for $100.
